The Metwood 250 FR14 I-Joist Flange Reinforcer™ 250 FR14 I-Joist Flange Reinforcers™ are designed to repair a notch cut from the top or bottom flange portion of a 14″ tall I-Joist with a 2.5″ flange. The I-Joist Flange Reinforcers™ are engineered light gauge steel attachments for engineered I-Joists allowing larger openings in floor joists. The Metwood patented and engineered I-Joist Flange Reinforcer™ simplifies the routing and installation of utilities while repairing and restoring the strength of floor joists weakened by the placement of large holes or notch cut-outs. Our Metwood I-Joist Flange Reinforcers™ are shipped with the screws and drill bit needed for easy installation and are simply screwed to the side of the floor joist with no glue needed. The 250 FR14 I-Joist Flange Reinforcers™ are designed to repair a notch cut from the top or bottom flange portion of an I-Joist that measure 2.5″. If using the 250 series on a flange larger or smaller than that of 2.5″, the web area or the flange area may need to be padded out so the 250 series Joist Flange Reinforcer™ fits tight against the joist.
