The RED1800.1D is 1-Ohm stable and utilizes a wide array of premium components that make it extremely powerful and reliable – such as its high-speed MOSFET power supply and advanced PCB board layout—conservatively rated at 1800 watts RMS power at a 1-ohm load. Especially, this mono amp is strappable (bridgeable). Strapping will give you twice the power and double the impedance load compared to having one single amplifier. If you have a 1,800w amplifier at 1 ohm, and you strap it with an identical amplifier at 1 ohm, you’ll have 3,600w at 2 ohm. Each amp will still be responsible for handling its own 1,800w at 1ohm, but together they’re sending out twice as much energy. Furthermore, the oversized 1/0 gauge power and ground terminals on the amplifier allow maximum current flow. You’ll have full reign over your amplifier with the built-in user control panel, featuring a bass EQ, and variable adjustment tunings for gain level, low-pass filter, and subsonic filter.
