The Pembroke Solid Oak Flooring comes from our brand new range, The Sir Benfro Range, which is solid oak flooring originating from Croatia, with the finest quality oak, manufactured in Croatia and is FSC labelled.This 20 x 130 Chevron 45 Degree Style is finished with a Brushed & Natural oiled finish on a solid oak board and is one of our most popular solid oak floors.This solid oak flooring is 20mm thick and 130mm wide, and is machined from one piece of solid oak.The brushed & natural oiled finish is achieved by a ‘brushing’ process on the face of the planks during manufacture to remove the slightly softer fibres of the oak. Once the oak has been brushed, it then is oiled with a natural waxoil, creating a smooth but textured finish to the oak floor. After the waxoil is applied, the brushing from manufacturing enhances the beautiful grain features of the natural oak.Each box contains a coverage of 0.29 m2, with lengths of –3 x 370mm Right Arms 3 x 370mm Left ArmsThe finish on this floor is very easy to maintain and should only ever require a light sanding and another coat of wax oil to bring it back to pristine condition when required (depending on wear and tear). Brushed & natural oiled solid oak flooring is unlikely to require a total re-finish, which increases its lifespan and reduces maintenance costs. One of the benefits of this solid oak floor is that the underside is sealed for improved moisture protection, which reduces the risk of ‘cupping’ after installation.Natural features such as knots are filled in on this solid oak flooring which creates a fuller, more blended look but still provides an accent of the natural features in the overall look of the flooring.Scratches and marks don’t show up on a brushed and oiled finish as much as they do on a smooth surface and because the waxoil colour is natural, if you ever want to darken the colour you can apply another coat of waxoil in the colour of your choice to achieve the exact finish that you want.Brushed & natural oiled solid oak flooring is one of the most versatile oak floors we stock and looks great in any room, easily co-ordinating with and complementing your existing décor.
