AMBA Physical Intervention Techniques Model Refresher Training (re-licensing)

General Information The SIA requires all trainers teaching Physical Intervention Skills to refresh those skills and teaching methodology of those techniques annually. Duration Normally 1 day (dependent on individual requirements and experience). Assessment Trainers are re-assessed in their ability to conduct the AMBA Physical Intervention Model and competence to teach the model by AMBA master trainers. Door Supervision Top Up Trainee tutors conducting the refresher are advised to undertake the Door Supervision Top up concurrently in order to maximise time and be more cost effective. First Aid at Work The SIA now recommends that all tutors conducting Physical Intervention have a full First Aid at Work Qualification.
