A very interesting cello of beautiful build quality and a lovely deep rouge varnish. She has a carbon fibre end pin and a good set up. There have been repairs to the ribs but front and back seem untouched. Scroll and neck are undamaged. This instrument has Paul Kaul branding to bottom block, one on lower bout with French writing, signature and date 1923?? 2 branding on the back in the middle 1 branding on the belly between bottom and Fholes and one on belly just below neck block with handwriting near the branding. She looks to be a very special well made instrument with all the right markings and signatures. Please come and try her out. I do not have any certification with this instrument.
